Um Pingo na hora da despedida / Farewell Pingo (04 Nov)

   Já começa a ser tradição nossa largar um pingo nas casas dos amigos e da família que nos acolhem durante uns dias. Foi assim na Holanda e também em Inglaterra. Este ficou agradavelmente deitado na mesa de cabeceira à espera de ser encontrado.

   We began a new tradition: dropping a pingo in friends and family homes which welcome us for a few days. So it was in Holland and also in England . This pingo was pleasantly lying on the bedside table waiting to be found.

Pingo "Baker Street" (03 Nov)

   Londres. Baker Street. Hora de almoço. Escolhemos o Pizza Express (uma cadeia de restaurantes de 

comida italiana) e no fim da refeição, enquanto bebia o meu chá preto, larguei um pingo riscadinho em cima da mesa, esperando que fosse encontrado pela simpática empregada que nos atendeu. 

   Baker Street. Lunchtime. We chose Pizza Express (a chain of Italian restaurants) and at the end of the meal, while drinking my black tea, I dropped a pingo on the table, hoping that it would be found by the sympathetic maid who served us.

Pingo Amizade / Friendship Pingo (03 Nov)

   A ida a Inglaterra foi feita também com o intuito de ver familiares e amigos. E a Ana estava na lista das pessoas a visitar. A última vez que estivemos juntas foi há 6 anos, precisamente no dia do meu casamento. só estivémos juntas 20 minutos, foi pouco tempo para toda a saudade, mas ainda consegui oferecer-lhe um PingAmor. Este sei que fica bem entregue, e vai perpetuar para sempre este nosso encontro. 

   The trip to England also had the purpose of seeing family and friends. And Ana was on that list. The last time we were together was 6 years ago, precisely on my wedding day. We were together for 20 minutesonly , but I had the time to offer her a PingAmor that will be a memory of this reunion.

Pingo "sabor português" / "Portuguese flavour" Pingo (03 Nov)

Apesar do nome inglês, a pastelaria onde tomámos o pequeno almoço é tipicamente portuguesa. Mal entrámos, fomos envolvidos por um irrestível aroma a pão quente. O  balcão estava repleto de pastéis de nata,  bolo de arroz e outras guloseimas portuguesas. 

   Achei que o coração pintado no placard  era um sinal de que também ali tinha de deixar um PingAmor. 

   Este pingo nem aqueceu o lugar: mal foi largado foi de imediato resgatado por uma das empregadas da pastelaria, que adorou o conceito do nosso movimento. E o pinguinho azul lá seguiu para trás do balcão, aninhado num dos bolsos do avental da sua nova amiga.

   Despite the english name, the bakery where we had breakfast is typically portuguese. We were surrounded by a irresistible aroma of fresh backed bread and the counter was full of "pastéis de nata", "bolos de arroz" and other portuguese pastries.

    I thought that the heart painted in the dashboard was a sign that I had to leave a PingAmor there.

    I drop the pingo and it was immediately rescued by one of the maids of pastry, who loved the concept of our movement.

Pingo Peterborough

   Fim de semana prolongado passado em Inglaterra. Na bagagem não podia faltar um bom conjunto de PingAmores para largar.

   O primeiro foi deixado na praça principal da cidade de Peterborough. Aproveitando que a tarde estava fria mas bem solarenga, deixámos um pedaço de amor num dos grandes bancos de madeira que por lá se encontram.

   Long weekend spent in England. In the bag we took a nice set of PingAmores to drop.
The first was left in the main square at the city of Peterborough. As it was a cold but sunny afternoon, we dropped a pingo in one of the large wooden benches.
